I don't believe in subbing to zephyr classes of people I don't know. I seem to be unusual in this regard. (I also judge whether people know each other by who zephyrs to which personal classes, which is not always reliable.) |

Visible light encompasses only a very limited range of the electromagnetic spectrum -- as I recall, the wavelengths that can penetrate seawater. So how is it that enough spectral lines fall into that range for us to be able to distinguish elements by color? |
